ALEN GERSHKOVICH - YOUNG	LEADERSHIP	AWARD Alen Gershkovich was born in Ukraine into a Jewish family. At the age of 10, Alen and his family relocated to the United States . His family was decimated in the holocaust and it took over 20 years to get all of the family members to the United States and Israel . Alen completed his undergraduate studies Union College , graduating in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Economics. He currently holds an MBA in International Business Management from Union Graduate College and a Masters degree in Construction Management from New York University . Alen began his career in construction and has been in charge of various prominent construction projects in New York City . This past Spring Alen was called on to serve as the Project Lead for the construction of Cone Island Luna Park Site A and is currently the Principal of Inspiron Construction which was just awarded the construction of Coney Island Luna Park Site B "Scream Zone". He is active in both the Jewish and Russian communities and has been involved with RAJE for four years, recently being honored to sit on the board. Alen's leisure activities include Golf, Basketball, Martial Arts, Snowboarding, Rock Climbing and Mountain Biking. He is a strong believer in giving back to ones community and leaving a positive impact on those around you.
