Public Affairs Analyst
The Rendon Group, a leading international strategic communications firm with experience planning and managing strategic and tactical communications programs
in 91 countries across Africa, the Americas , Asia, Europe, and the Middle East , is seeking a Public Affairs Analyst.
The Public Affairs Analyst will work from Washington DC in support of a military client and a TRG team stationed in Baghdad . The Public Affairs Analyst will work
to expand the client’s public information reach beyond traditional recipients of media products via multiple outlets and formats in order to garner maximum
exposure to applicable Baghdad and US publics on a 24-hour basis. The Public Affairs Analyst will assist the client’s public affairs office to revise and execute
current plans as well as create future PA plans in support office planning and operations.

Day-to-day activities may include (but would not be limited to):

* Assisting in the provision of real-time rapid response. * Track communications activities and provide data/trends on media outlets * Assist to revise current plans and create future plans based on media environment assessment. * Conduct extensive outreach to media outlets. * Schedule and execute interviews w/hometown outlets – being worked through the field team in coordination with the client’s units. * Develop, manage and maintain website, generate all weekly and daily reports. * Create and maintain a weekly media assessment tracking mechanism that allows client to schedule future engagements to mitigate threats and leverage opportunities. * Assist in the production of Press Releases, News Clips, and conduct Media Analysis. * Continues to refine or evolve products as needed and requested by the client while maintaining documentation to meet the contracted scope of work. * Complete other tasks as assigned or necessary.

Our ideal candidate will be a confident media specialist, with proven track record of placements at local, state, and national levels in a variety of mediums.
The Public Affairs Analyst chosen for this position will be a team player able and willing to work long hours as necessary. Will have at least seven years of relevant
experience with a Bachelors degree.
