The Coulter Companies-Director of Resource Development

The Director of Resource Development will join our rapidly growing company and will play a crucial role in our continued growth. The successful candidate will be professional and driven to provide the highest quality service to our clients in all areas of fundraising and client relationship building.
Additionally, the director will work closely with client leaders to track client resource development (fundraising) activity against board-approved goals, identify, and solicit prospective sponsors and present strategic vision during cultivations. Director will also promote recruitment and retention of sponsors by assessing and matching their needs and budget with existing client programs.
EXPERIENCE:
The successful candidate for the Director of Resource Development will have the following experience and abilities:

* 5 -7 years experience in development. * Fundraising that involves frequent contact with prospects and current sponsors, including identifying potential new funding sources. * Track and report all client resource development activities against pre-set financial goals, including advertising, exhibit and sponsorship sales. * Grant writing capabilities including researching prospective foundations, corporate and government grantors. * Exceptional communication and organizational skills with attention to detail. * Ambitious, hardworking and able to succeed in a results-driven environment. * Position will require travel to events where sponsors are present including onsite stewardship and cultivation. * Proficient with MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point and Access a plus.
