Internships - Career Opportunities at Leading Jewish Organizations
at F.E.G.S Student Internship Program (Anywhere)
Explore Your Career Opportunities at Leading Jewish Organizations
The skills you learn today — business, law, accounting, management, education, social work, psychology, information technology, computer programming — can offer you a rich and rewarding career in the Jewish nonprofit world.
LEAD provides paid internships for Russian-speaking, Jewish undergraduate and graduate students in the New York metropolitan area. You will have the opportunity to work in a Jewish not-for-profit organization that serves the entire community through an internship tailored to meet your career goals. You will gain experience working in a professional environment, while expanding your contacts within the Jewish community in New York City.
You will also participate in three seminars led by dynamic leaders in the Jewish world and enjoy cultural programming that will help you explore your Jewish heritage and your place in Jewish communal services.
You will receive one-on-one professional guidance from a mentor.
HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
Undergraduates may apply for either the fall or spring semester, and must commit to 4 hours per week for 10 weeks. Graduate students may apply for fall, spring, or summer programs. Fall and spring internships consist of 14 hours per week for 10 weeks; summer internships consist of 35 hours per week for 8 weeks.
You will be awarded a stipend upon completion of the required internship hours and the educational sessions.
